Vincent Molapo obtained his Mechanical Engineering Diploma in July 2006 at Tshwane University of Technology, and trained at I.N.D.L.E.L.A (Institution for the National Development of Leanerships, Employment skills and Labour Assessment) after which he was certified as a qualified Mechanical Technician.

Immediately after obtaining his diploma he joined August Lapple in partnership with TUT working as a Junior Tool Engineer. Here he designed jigs and fixtures, refurbished of injection moulding tools, manufactured four stages press tools (Blank Die, Form Die, Cam Die and Drill Jig) and trained to operate high-tech manufacturing machines: 5-axis CNC milling machines and spark eroding machines.
