Chiropractic is a health care discipline that emphasises the inherent recuperative power of the body to heal itself without the use of drugs or surgery. The practice of chiropractic focuses on the relationship between structure (primarily the spine) and function (as coordinated by the nervous system) and how that relationship affects the preservation and restoration of health. Our department offers a four year Bachelors of Health Sciences Chiropratic application open on the 1st April every year. Applicants are required to attend an interview as a component of the selection process. Successful applicants are required to complete the Master of Health Sciences in Chiropractic to comply with minimum registration requirements of the AHPCSA.
