Purpose
The purpose of this Short Learning Programme is to capacitate Local Economic Development (LED) practitioners with the necessary skills to engage in an interactive research process culminating in the compilation of a research proposal and in a full research project or a report.
Admission Requirements
An appropriate Bachelor’s degree on NQF level 7; experience in the fields related to public administration, economics or business. Applicants may be subject to an internal selection process. The SLP “Introduction to Local Economic Development” (S3E14Q) as pre-study is recommended.
