Purpose
The purpose of this qualification is to equip students with an in-depth grounding in human resource management (HRM) knowledge, theory, principles and skills so that they may contribute to the multi-functional, multinational public and business sectors, confidently executing analytical, interpretive, strategic and integrative skills.
Career Opportunities
Human Resource Practitioners, HRM Personnel Manager, HRM Personnel Officer, Training Manager, Recruitment and Selection Officer. Graduates may register as HR Practitioners with the South African Board of People Practices (SABPP) to encourage regulated, standardised HR practices.
Admission Requirements
A minimum APS of 28 with Mathematics or 28 with Mathematical Literacy. English 4 (50%), Mathematics or Technical Mathematics 4(50%), or Mathematical Literacy 5 (60%).
Selection Process
Selection is based on academic credit.
