Purpose
The purpose of the Higher Certficate in Local Governance and Management is to enable students to apply the relevant competences required to fulfil the roles and responsibilities of local government councillors, officials or other employees or persons involved in municipal affairs who aspire to a managerial position.
Admission Requirements
Grade 12 Senior Certificate (SC) or National Senior Certificate (NSC) with certificate endorsement (Matric); and Students need to be employed and wish to gain a qualification related to their jobs.
Selection Process
Selection is based on academic credit.
