Purpose
This SLP provides an understanding of concepts underpinning sustainable transport, with a view to implementing the Green Transport Strategy. Reduce greenhouse gas emissions and other negative environmental impacts of the transport sector. Promote economic growth and boost jobs

Study Unit 1 : Impact on climate, the environment and health Study Unit 2: Overview of South Africa’s transport sector Study Unit 3: Drivers of transport use behavior Study Unit 4: Greenhouse gas emissions from different transport technologies and fuels, Sustainable transport technologies and operator initiatives Study Unit 5: Public and alternative transportation and infrastructure requirements Study Unit 6: Smart mobility and smart cities: Digital solutions and Transport 4.0
