Purpose
This SLP Â builds on the Introduction to Green Transport SLP and conveys the tools and skills needed for developing and implementing sustainable transport initiatives. Reduce greenhouse gas emissions and other negative environmental impacts of the transport sector. Promote economic growth and boost jobs.

Study Unit 1: Fiscal and non-fiscal policy instruments driving a move to green transport, focusing on the South African policy environment Study Unit 2: Calculating carbon dioxide emissions and developing climate change mitigation initiatives Study Unit 3: Designing a demonstration and pilot programme Study Unit 4: Green transport financing models Study Unit 4: Developing a monitoring and evaluation framework Study Unit 5: Developing a climate change adaptation plan for a sustainable transport initiative
