Power Distribution Systems Planning and Operation – Challenges and Opportunities
The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering in association with SASTRA Deemed to be University, Thanjavur (India) invites you to a webinar entitled: “Power Distribution Systems Planning and Operation – Challenges and Opportunities” by Dr. Narayanan K.
Abstract:
Modern Power Systems has undergone tremendous change with increasing emphasis on Clean and Green Environment. This has led to an increased use of Renewable Energy Technologies. Even small producers of Electrical Energy are encouraged in the modern grid operation. This has led to more planning and operational challenges in the Distribution System where small scale producers of Electrical Energy are encouraged to interface to the grid. The modern grid operators are required to be good planners along with being effective operators.
