The  pilot Tshivenda translation of the MARKO-D SA test was supervised by Ms Catherine Nedambale and colleagues at the University of Venda, with the help of  Grade 2 teachers.

The test will be administered to an adequately sized sample for validation in the near future. The pilot version was used by Nedambale who administered the test to Grade 2 learners who learn mathematics in their home language.

Ms Gladys Tshikondela administered an English version of  the test to Tshivenda-speaking learners who learn mathematics  in English.
