Overview/bio:

Martha Themba is an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Strategic Communication. In pursuit of her academic career goals, she is currently doing her master’s in marketing communication (funded by the National Research Foundation – NRF) and her career started as a tutor in the Department. As a young academic who is still growing in the field, she has a few years of experience lecturing strategic communications and public relations modules. Her research areas of interest include digital communication, social media, crisis communication, and stakeholder engagement.

Research Interests: Digital communication, social media, crisis communication, and stakeholder engagement.
