Purpose
The purpose of this SLP, Big Data Analytics and Applications in Business, is to introduce students from different industries and fields of
study, including those specialising in the fields of Applied Information Systems, Marketing and Retailing and Information and Knowledge
Management to the fundamental concepts that support data science and provide them with basic hands-on knowledge on big data
analytics for business decision-making.
Admission Requirements
Diploma at NQF level 6, or equivalent qualification;
OR
NSC (NQF level 4) with 3 years’ relevant work experience in data analysis.
Selection Process
Selection is made based on the academic merit.
