Miriam is Director of Altman Advisory where she supports governments and companies in their
economic and commercial strategies. She is a Professor of 4IR Practice in the School of Economics at
the University of Johannesburg. She has economics degrees from McGill University, the University
of Cambridge and the University of Manchester. Her publications and blog can be found at www.
