Farshid Pahlevani is an associate professor of materials science and engineering at the Centre of Sustainable Materials Research and Technology at the school of materials science and engineering of the University of New South Wales (SMaRT@UNSW). Farshid is an international expert on innovative solutions for waste challenges, materials development, and processing. His international research career, spanning high profile research institutes in Japan, Singapore, and Australia, includes considerable experience working closely with industry to improve existing processes to achieve better environmental outcomes and greater cost efficiencies
