Podcast: Educating Rural Consumers About Digital Stokvel Apps
Ms Philile Thusi is making waves in KwaZulu-Natal through a groundbreaking initiative aimed at educating rural consumers about digital stokvel apps. As part of her PhD research, Ms Thusi is hosting weekly radio interviews on Ikhwezi FM, a leading community radio station in the region.
Over the month of March, Ms Thusi takes to the airwaves, Wednesdays at 15:15, to share valuable insights on how digital stokvel platforms can enhance financial inclusivity, improve savings culture, and simplify group money management for rural consumers. The sessions provide a unique opportunity to address common concerns, break down complex digital financial concepts, and encourage trust in modern fintech solutions.
