Gearing up for “Transforming Africa: innovating our way towards sustainability” Conference!
In collaboration with partners, the DSI/NRF Trilateral Chair in Transformative Innovation, the 4IR and Sustainable Development (TRCTI) is gearing up for an international conference that will be hosted in Johannesburg, South Africa. The Conference, which will be hosted on the 26-29 February 2024, aims to stimulate the cross-pollination of ideas, co-creation of solutions, and learning across regions and actors. We believe that everyone has a part to play in innovating our way towards sustainability and that’s where YOU come in as a creative.
In ensuring that everyone is a part of not only the conversations about innovation and sustainability, but the co-creation of solutions as well, we couldn’t leave the creative arts behind. Hence the call for creatives/artists who can translate academic discussions into a creative art presentation at the conference.
We are looking for individuals in the creative arts (e.g., poets, artists, designers, DJs, etc.) who can do the following:
- Improvise
- Use art to interpret text/context
- We are particularly interested in creatives using innovative digital technologies including Chat GTP, Design AI, NFT art etc.
