The Living Catchments project was in the process of trying to bring together practitioners and local stakeholders around strategic water source areas (SWSAs) in South Africa who are working in silos, namely those who are focussed on ecological infrastructure and those focussed on the built infrastructure, to improve the sustainability of SWSAs as part of efforts to improve South Africa’s water security.
