Policy & Governance of STI Systems
Key to the successful introduction of innovation, whether it takes place in firms, the public sector or in other settings, is the combination and support of people, knowledge and resources. This requires different organisational and institutional structures as well as a recognition of underlying history, culture, power and politics. This focus area considers these issues and the government and non-government actions or policies required to ensure the right combinations to create enabling innovation systems.
