The purpose of the programme is to qualify health professionals who upon completion will have been empowered to analyse, strategise and offer solutions to Environmental and Occupational Health threats and risks faced by Sub-Saharan countries including South Africa.
Duration:
The minimum period to complete the qualification is 2 years.
Minimum Requirements:
• Health-related qualification at NQF level 8 such as Environmental Health, MBChB, Social Work, Physiotherapy, Nursing and other related equivalent qualification, (Provide SAQA evaluation).
• Average of 65% on the highest qualification (attach academic transcript).
• Three to five years’ work experience in the Health sector inclusive of management position, research and/or project management.
• A minimum of three years’ work experience in the field of Environmental Health and Occupational Health and Safety.
• Applicants with equivalent qualifications will be considered by a constituted status committee if they submit a detailed CV and motivation letter.
