Undergraduate Studies

Students can apply to study for a BA degree with a major in Anthropology or a BSc degree with a major in Geology. Postgraduate Studies

We offer Postgraduate degrees (Hons, MA/MSc and PhD) in the following topics:

  • Hominin genetics and physiology
  • Indigenous Knowledge Systems
  • Landscape Evolution
  • Palaeo-TrACKs
  • Palaeo or Archaeo Botany
  • Plio-Pleistocene Fauna
  • Southern African Stone Age
  • Worked bone technology
