About Dr. Claudette Robinson

I began my higher education at the University of Johannesburg by enrolling for a BSc degree, with Mathematics and Chemistry as majors. After obtaining this degree, I completed a BSc Honours degree in Mathematics and then an MSc in Mathematics under the supervision of Professor Willem Conradie and Professor Valentin Goranko.  In 2015, I submitted my PhD at the University of Johannesburg. My thesis focused on algebraic methods for classical hybrid logics. I was supervised by Professor Willem Conradie. Before UJ offered me a permanent position as a lecturer in 2017, I was a postdoctoral researcher at the University of the Witwatersrand. I was funded by the Claude Leon Foundation.

Research interests: Universal Algebra, Lattice Theory, Relation Algebras, Mathematical Logic
