About Dr Zahida Myburgh
Zahida Myburgh is the Project Manager in the Special Projects Unit of the Division for Teaching Excellence. Zahida has been actively engaged in education, including working as a high school Principal (locally) and School Supervisor (internationally). Before joining UJ, she worked at the Council on Higher Education, as Manager: Accreditation. Prior to that, she worked as Assistant Director: Registration and Recognition at the South African Qualifications Authority. Zahida has participated in national committees, task teams and policy reference groups. Her research focus is education management, law and policy, with a particular interest in quality assurance in higher education.
