Overview/bio:
Elmon Motloutsi is an Assistant Lecturer under the Global Excellence Statute (GES) in the Department of Strategic Communication. Elmon holds a BA in Communication Studies and BA Honours in Communication Studies from the University of Limpopo and an MA in Corporate Communication from UJ. Elmon is currently PhD in Strategic Communication candidate under the National Research Foundation (NRF) scholarship in the Department of Strategic Communication at UJ. As an emerging scholar, Elmon participated in many academic seminars and conferences at UJ and other Universities. His current research project focuses on local government, public participation, stakeholder engagement and inclusive decision-making under the supervision of Prof Corne Meintjes (UJ).
Research Interests: Stakeholder Engagement, Public Participation, Local Governance, Political Communication, Strategic Communication and Public Relations.
Achievements:
2020 Top Achiever Masters Faculty of Humanities University of Johannesburg.
