Overview/bio:

Elvis Madondo is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Strategic Communication. He is a published author with over 20 journal articles, one book chapter, and two conference proceedings. He has also presented at 14 international conferences and two local conferences. Currently, he is working on three book chapters and additional journal articles. To date, he has successfully supervised six Master’s students.

Elvis’s career and passion for teaching began as a High School Teacher for Economics and Business Studies, where he taught for three years before pursuing further studies and transitioning into Higher Education, where he now has nearly eight years of experience. Although his research interests are diverse, his primary focus is on Strategic Corporate Communication.

His teaching philosophy is centred on Holistic Development, aiming to facilitate the growth of well-rounded individuals. A Student-Centered and Participatory Learning approach forms the foundation of his teaching methods.

Research Interests: Social media, strategic corporate communication, brand communication, social change, corporate social responsibility, and consumer behaviour.
