About Prof Gijsbert Hoogendoorn
Professor Gijsbert Hoogendoorn is a Tourism Geographer and has published over 100 papers, book chapters and monographs on a variety of topics in Tourism Geography. These included publications on second homes tourism in South Africa, Mozambique, China and Sweden, urban tourism in Johannesburg, and climate change and tourism topics in Southern Africa more broadly.
