 Overview/bio:

  • Igneciah Pocia Thete, is an Assistant Lecturer at the Department of African Languages specializing with Sepedi (Methodology & Practicum), she has presented academic papers at various conferences, where she also chaired a session, and attended symposiums. Thete is an interim adjudicator for the UJ Sesotho sa Leboa Literary Awards. Thete has supervised several postgraduate (honours) students and co-supervisor (MA).

  • I presented a paper at the University of Johannesburg mini-conference hosted by the Department of African Languages, Faculty of Humanities at Auckland Park Campus, the paper titled; Thuto ya Papetšo ya Kgolo ya Morero Ngwagengkgolo wa Masomepedi le Masomepedi-tee Dingwalweng tša Sesotho sa Leboa (2023).
  • Presented a paper at the 2023 IIE 7th E-Symposium, the paper titled; Nurturing Northern Sotho Classroom by Developing Dialogue Using Learner Centred Strategies and Digital Tools.
