Biography
Silence M Lubisi (PhD Candidate), completed his B-Tech degree in Mining Engineering at the University of Johannesburg in 2012. He also completed his masters degree in Engineering Management (MPhil) in 2019 and currently a PhD candidate,2022 . He has underground mine work experiences in diamond (Koffiefontein Mine – De Beers), platinum (Impala) and coal (Kriel Mine – Anglo Coal). He joined The University of Johannesburg as a laboratory technician, where he is involved in designing and facilitating both on-campus, and on the field practical. He is a member of SAIMM and registered with ECSA (Engineering Candidate).
