About Mrs Abelwe Maluleka
Abelwe Maluleka’s research interests include pre- and in-service teacher education, commerce education, curriculum development, and taxation as a source of finance, with a focus on equity and economic efficiency. She has teaching experience at secondary and university levels, specialising in Accounting, Business Studies and Economics. Since joining the university, she has lectured mainly methodology and practicum: economics and business to undergraduate and PGCE students. Her research explores mentorship, teaching practices, and innovative business and economics education pedagogical strategies. She is engaged in postgraduate supervision and external moderation and contributes to the professional development of educators.
