Cinthya Strydom is a dedicated and hardworking academic with a strong background in childhood education. She earned her Bachelor of Education (BEd) degree in the Foundation Phase with distinction, followed by an Honours degree in Childhood Education, also with distinction, which she completed part-time while working full-time. She then pursued a master’s degree in Childhood Education, specialising in science education, completing a full dissertation with Cum Laude honors.
Currently, Cinthya is a PhD student in the Department of Childhood Education (DCE), where her research explores the integration of 21st-century frameworks in Foundation Phase mathematics. She serves as an Assistant Lecturer, focusing on mathematics education for second-year students.
