About Ms. Mandisa Mbaza
Mandisa Mbaza is an Assistant Lecturer at the Department of Social Work and Community Development. She assists in both the Social Work and the Community Development programs. She received her Bachelor of Social Work Degree from Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University (now Nelson Mandela University). She also completed a Bachelor of Social Science Honours degree (Clinical Social Work) with the University of Cape Town.
She has recently completed her Masters Degree in Social Work (by Research) with the University of Johannesburg. She has been previously worked at Uviwe Child and Youth Care Services as a Social Worker, and at Khethimpilo as a Project Coordinator for the Young Women and Girls Project. Her research interest is in care-leavers and resilience.
