About Prof Magda Hewitt
Prof, Lia (Magda) Hewitt (DPhil), is an Associate Professor in Personal and Professional Leadership at the University of Johannesburg, within the College of Business and Economics, School of Management, Department of Industrial Psychology and People Management. She also serves as the Deputy Head of Department for Postgraduate Leadership Programmes. Her research focuses on organisational and entrepreneurial leadership, with a particular emphasis on the personal and professional development of leaders, employing coaching as a catalyst for personal and professional growth in leadership. In addition to her role at the University of Johannesburg, she is a Visiting Scholar (AP) at the University of Zagreb, Croatia, and a Visiting Professor at the University of Lodz, Poland.
