Mini open days

The University of Johannesburg hosted Mini Open days for Grade 12 students on June 26th and 27th, 2024. This event took place at the Kingsway Campus at A Les 101 (Florrie Daniels Lecture Hall) where various schools brought their grade 12 pupils to attend. The event started at 09h30 allowing students to visit the different stations and explore the qualifications. Here they met with departmental representatives, including our departmental tutors who offered the scholars with essential information about the different Marketing Department qualifications.

There were three formal presentation sessions held throughout the day, with the first one starting at 10h00. These sessions provided insights into life at UJ, including details on residences, campus life, student societies, and more. After each presentation the students were taken on guided tours of the campus to experience the vibrant university atmosphere firsthand.

The event then ended with a final campus tour at 15h00, and by 16h00, we said our goodbyes, hoping the students left feeling well informed and excited about their future at UJ.
