Short Learning Programmes

The Postgraduate School Research Capacity Development Unit is offering Short Learning Programmes (SLPs) on research supervision. All programmes are offered as online asynchronous courses with compulsory online interaction with programme materials and facilitators, spread over a semester, with virtual synchronous contact sessions. Three SLPs may be credited to the Postgraduate Diploma in Research Supervision.

  2. Academic Literacies in Research Supervision
  3. Research Ethics in Postgraduate Supervision
  4. Assessment of Postgraduate Research
  5. Supervision of Qualitative Research Design
  6. Supervision of Quantitative Research Design and
  7. Current and Emerging Issues in Postgraduate Supervision.

Cost per programme is R7140 for each SLP.
