The UJ Football Club’s goal is to develop and harness young football talent and enrich their lives through academic excellence. With knowledgeable coaches and a performance excellence unit, the Club offers student-athletes the opportunity to develop as graduates and professional football players.
The Club has teams which are registered with the SAFA Football Leagues and 28 student football teams that compete in the internal UJ Residence Football League. Teams are based both at the Bunting Road Campus and the Soweto Campus.
