Purpose
Data is growing at a tremendous rate, and has become a critical feedstock to macro-economic development companies, governments, and organization are now investing in data skills and infrastructure as they have recognized that it has become the true invisible hand behind the driving growth and transformation in the 4th industrial Revolution. Hence, there is need for data engineering, data analytics, data wrangling, big data knowledge and skills, as well as driving innovation through data, in various sectors of the economy. This programme is designed to meet this need. Upon completion of this short learning programme, the participant will gain knowledge, exposure and experience in data driven innovation which can be used to turn data into insights, value and innovation.
Admission Requirements
Applicants require at least an NQF level 7 qualifications that includes basic mathematics (NQF level 5) or equivalent.
Selection Process
Selection is based on academic credit.
