Purpose
The purpose of the diploma programmes is to develop graduates who can demonstrate focused knowledge and skills in analytical chemistry, biotechnology and food technology. The programmes therefore focus centrally on equipping students with an in-depth and specialised knowledge of the general principles and practical skills applicable to the analytical chemistry, biotechnology or food technology industry.
Career Opportunities
Biotechnologists manipulate living cells for application in the baking, brewing, chemical, agricultural and pharmaceutical fields.

A minimum APS of 21, English 4 (50%+), Mathematics / Technical Mathematics 3 (40%+), Physical Science 3 (40%+) & Life Science 3 (40%+)
