Purpose
A student who achieves this qualification will be competent to –
- Apply theoretical knowledge, practical experience and skills in mammographic procedures, patient care and quality control and
- Assist with invasive procedures as applicable to mammography in order to maintain a high standard of image quality to ensure accurate diagnoses

Admission Requirements
- NDip(Diag) or equivalent
- Students must have access to a Mammography department for the clinical component of the course
Students must have a clinical supervisor who may be a radiographer with a mammography qualification, or a radiologist experienced in mammography
