Purpose
The purpose of the Responsible AI Use: Ethical considerations for Large Language Models SLP is to acquiant participants with predominant ethical issues in artificial intelligence ethics, with special focus on LLM’s. Participants will be introduced to ethics and its difference from morals and the law, and then provide them with a practical opportunity to engage with the ethical issue raised by LLM’s, specifically their use in research and education. Participants will be encouraged to develop a critical approach to the use of these technologies in their studies whilst recognising their value for the development of excellence in research. This will benefit students at universities and other tertiary institutions alike.

This is a skills upliftment short learning programme, that will enhance the AI approaches in an ethical manner.
Admission Requirements
Applicants should be in possession of a matric/senior certificate (Grade 12) or equivalent thereof.
Selection Process
Selection will be made based on the academic merit.
